Special Projects

In addition to the annual funds made available to both athletic and academic groups in the high school, the Munster High School Booster Club is able to support special projects. These projects are typically identified by the school and can be athletic, academic or capital in nature. Some examples of special projects funding in the past are:

• 2016 Tennis court resurfacing – $28,000

• 2015 Soccer scoreboard – $10,000

• 2014 Baseball scoreboard – $11,000

• 2014 Football team helmets – $12,000

• 2014 Tennis court upgrades (spectator stands and shed) – $7,000

• 2010 Contribution to upgrade of new stadium scoreboard – $25,000

• 2009 Robotics Team start-up – $5,000

• 2007 High-jump pit – $5,100

• 2006 Supplemental bleachers for fieldhouse – $10,000

• 2004 Electronic sign in front of school on Columbia Avenue – $39,000
